Do you want to be happier?

Happiness is an important quality of life we work toward here at True North. When we have webinars, master classes and coaching, we focus on 3 goals:

  1. Wealth

  2. Health

  3. Happiness

But happiness can be one of the hardest goals to achieve. How can we be happier? In this article, Polly Wirum focuses more on abundance. How can we generate more abundance in our lives and take notice?

She focuses on 8 ways to re-connect with abundance:

  1. Allow abundance to show up unexpectedly in our lives

  2. Be truthful with yourself about what you most want

  3. Notice new examples of abundance in your lives

  4. Nurture your abundance

  5. Surrender and trust in a higher power

  6. We co-creative abundance with the universe

  7. Have a daily gratitude practice

  8. Celebrate every way the universe supports you

For me, #2, 5, 6, and 7 stick out.

2 - Being truthful with yourself is so important and can take time to become really clear. Having a coach to help you and reflect back to you what the coach is seeing is important for discovery

5 - Surrender to a higher power. I have always had a strong faith in God. Believing in a higher power is important knowing the God is there to provide everything we need

6 - Surrender and trust in a higher power - very similar to #5 but surrendering means that we no longer feel we have to do it on our own, that God will provide

7 - Have a daily gratitude practice - I have been doing this for awhile. Simply write down what you are grateful for. Then review it each day adding and deleting to the list
